FitHer Brisbane Expo launches on International Women’s Day 2024

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, FitHer celebrates and inspires inclusion for women in Australia and across the globe, announcing its lineup and launching tickets for its Brisbane Expo on 27-28 July 2024 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“FitHer is a movement to change the world of women’s health, it’s about empowering women to prioritise their health, fitness and wellbeing to be the fittest version of themselves – in body, mind and life” says FitHer CEO and Founder Emma Price.

“It’s about connection, empowerment and inclusion of ALL women and bringing them together in a safe space of belonging, encouragement and inspiration to be the best they can be and have the most incredible weekend of connection”.

The lineup for the FitHer Brisbane Expo is starting to be revealed with some of Australia’s top women in fitness already confirmed – including Chontel Duncan, Cass Olholm, Libby Babet and our main stage host Sarah Davidson, who will also be at our Melbourne event along with swimming sensation Bronte Campbell later this year in October.

Tickets are now on sale, and we are offering a very special IWD2024 launch offer of 50% off all tickets (excluding VIP) for three days only (offer ends midnight Sunday 10 March 2024).

We asked our lineup what International Women’s Day means to them, here’s their responses:

Chontel Duncan: “International Women's Day 2024 is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience that lies within every woman. As a mum of five, the owner of a group training facility, an online trainer, and someone who has triumphed over a challenging upbringing, this day resonates deeply with me. It's a celebration of the relentless spirit of women who, despite the odds, rise to forge paths of success, wellness, and empowerment. It's a day to honour the journey of every woman who balances the demands of motherhood with the passion of entrepreneurship, and who turns obstacles into stepping stones. For me, International Women's Day is not just about recognising achievements; it's about inspiring the next generation of women to dream bigger, push harder, and stand taller.

Cass Olholm: To me, International Women’s Day is all about women empowerment. It’s about celebrating, supporting and championing women. It's women encouraging each other to know their worth and embrace their power.

Libby Babet: Guide and interact with 250+ women every week, so for me it's International Women’s Day every single day. I've dedicated most of my adult life to serving women through every stage of life, listening to their stories, their sadness and their triumphs, and helping them to understand they already have everything they need within themselves to become passionate, powerful forces to be reckoned with. To me, IWD is a chance to celebrate who we are and how far we've come, to shine a light on areas of the community who are doing incredible things for the advancement of women, and to acknowledge those who still need our help to rise up and step forward with confidence. I love being a woman and working with women so much, because when you help just one woman create change, she'll go forth and change entire families and communities. I've seen it time and time again.

Bronte Campbell: International Women's Day for me represents the tenacity and perseverance of women throughout history and a chance to celebrate the people who have got us to where we are today. At the Paris 1924 Olympics 5% of the competitors were female, now in Paris 2024 over 50% will be female. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but International Women's Day is always a good time to stop and reflect and be grateful for all the incredible work done by former generations. In the words of IWD2024, when we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. Collectively, let’s forge a more inclusive world for women.

Join one of the most inclusive women’s events in Brisbane on 27-28 July and become part of the FitHer movement. Tickets are now on sale, get your tickets for half price until  midnight AEST Sunday 10 March 2024. GET YOUR TICKETS HERE.
